Hi Merry Christmas!
All of you who are reading this are probably spending Christmas at home with your families,
But Millie has no family it's already the night before Christmas in Bulgaria and she doesn't even have a family coming for her! Hopefully she won't have to spend many more Christmases in her orphanage and someday she can spend every day with a kind and loving family who will never put her in an orphanage.
Love, Hannah

Still Praying
Hi Hannah Here, I am still praying for Millie, she still has no family and It makes me sad to think that Millie will be spending her Christmas in an orphanage while I 'll be at home with my family.
Please keep praying for this girl so that one day she too can be at home with a family to love her and take care of her. I have been praying for her almost all year and I will keep praying for her until
she has a family.

Still praying.
Hi. Hannah here. its been a while since I my last post about Millie and she still has no family. I hope others are praying for her, does anyone else love this sweet girl? I have been praying for a long time but I will pray as long as I have to. here is a new picture of her.
She still looks so sad, Delia looked sad too but now that she has a family she smiles, and so that's my prayer for Millie so she has a reason to smile.

A Difference to These Three
I'd like you meet Sasha.
That sweet little bundle in her arms is her baby boy, Edik. Olga and her husband, Sasha are teen parents to this sweet little guy.
Olga and Sasha live in Ukraine....and they are homeless. They "graduated" from the orphanage where they grew up. They ended up on the streets. They have no family who can offer help and guidance as they grow into young adults.
They are blessed to have Christian friends who love them and want to help keep them off the streets and help them get on their feet. The Bible Orphan Ministry's current project is to raise enough money to rent an apartment for the three of them for one year. The cost of the apartment is $150 a month. They also want to raise enough to pay for Sasha to take the bus everyday to his job.
There may not be a way for a few people to save all of the teens living on the streets of Ukraine, but the Bible Orphan Ministry team is hoping that God will make a way for them to make a difference to these three.
Please pray for them. You can read more and find out how you can help HERE

A Call for Help
My dear friends at The Bible Orphan Ministry are praying that the Lord will send sponsors who are willing to commit $15 a month to sponsor boys in one of the poorest institutions they visit. These boys are the least of the least. I cannot see their pictures without tears welling up in my eyes.
Surely, whatever we do for these boys we do for the Lord.
My friend Alla organizes everything at the Bible Orphan Ministry. She knows the director of the institution and says that he cares and tries to do his best, but they are not given enough from the government to support the boys. Alla has asked for people to step forward and commit just $15 a month toward the boys' care. She will provide accountability by taking pictures and sharing what is purchased for the boys. She said she can provide invoices so we can see how the money is being spent.
The Bible Orphan Ministry is not a large organization with salaried positions. It is a ministry made up of just a few people, once orphaned themselves, who work every day for the orphans in the towns near their own. They are truly living by faith, trusting the Lord to provide for them and for their ministry.
They bring the gospel to those who are locked away and have no other way to hear it, but they also come face to face with real physical needs. They see extreme needs and they ask for help in meeting these needs.
What else can they do but ask? For those of us living in the state of comfort with most, if not all, of our real needs met...what can we do, but answer?
The Lord said when we clothe the naked, feed the hungry and visit those who are locked away...we do these things for Him. These boys are hungry, naked and locked away. It is an amazing opportunity and a real blessing to see Jesus in the least and to be able to do something to help.
Please go read Alla's post and see the faces of these boys. It takes courage to really see them.
Read what she has to say about the institution and the needs they see there.
Please pray and ask the Lord to send people willing to help them.

Millie.
Hi! This is Hannah you might remember I prayed for Delia. now she is home with her new family so I have picked a new girl to pray for, her name is Millie she is 7 years old. I hope there is someone out there who will adopt her and love her!
She doesn't look happy were she is. She looks like she is crying. She needs someone to adopt her and love her! I hope others will pray for her as well because praying for Delia taught me that God hears our prayers and answers them.

Gifts for Graduates Project
My dear friends in Ukraine, The Bible Orphan Ministy, have begun a new project. Each year orphans reach the maximum age and "graduate". Graduation sounds like a good thing, but it isn't always. These teens must leave the orphanage which is the only home most of them have. You can read more about it on the Bible Orphan Ministry's blog in this post.
They have begun the Gifts for Graduates Project to raise money to purchase gifts for some of the children who will be leaving the orphanages. They would like to bless 80 teens with a gift of kitchen utensils and a blanket. They would like to spend $22.75 on each teen. They have only one month to raise $1820.
Lets pray for the team and the graduates. Let's help them raise the sum they need to purchase something for the children. In most cultures, 16 isn't old enough to be turned out into the world. It would be nice for them to have a little something that they need and to know that someone cared enough about them to give them a gift on their graduation day.

Princess Masha
Little Masha got her few seconds of fame on the ABC News video that featured Reece's Rainbow and some of the children in institutions in Ukraine. The video is just seconds, but it shows how sweet Masha is and how she wants to be loved and has love to share. If you watch the video, the bit about Masha starts at 1:37 minutes.
Masha has over $2700 in her RR grant. But what she really needs is a family!
Masha has over $2700 in her RR grant. But what she really needs is a family!
Not only has Masha been on national television, but she is also known and loved by my dear friend Alla of The Bible Orphan Ministry. Alla and her team members call her Miss Masha and she is their little princess. You can read their post about her Here
She is described as smart and sweet. She would do so well in a family. Many of the girls she lives with will never have the opportunity to be adopted into a family. Masha has an opportunity. I'm praying that someone turns that potential into reality and brings her home and LOVES her.
If anyone is at all interested in learning more about her, write to Alla at bibleorphanministry@mail.ru and ask questions or ask to see more pictures of her. Our family will be praying that her family finds her soon.

Harmony only has 120 Days
There is a little girl on Reece's Rainbow named "Harmony". She only has 120 days to find a family. After that, she will be too old, and will have lost her chance of a family.
Her picture isn't usually allowed to be posted, but it is allowed for just one day. You can read more and see her picture HERE. She is precious and sounds like such a great girl.
Please pray that this sweet little girl gets a family. Spread the word about her if you can.

Stacy
I am praying for this little girl.
She is listed on Reece's Rainbow as Stacy. She is 5 years old and she is in desperate need of a family.
Stacy has already been transferred to an Institution!!
Even when she was still at her Baby House she was stuck in a crib. A visiting family took a picture of her through the glass of the room she was kept in.
Is it just me, or do you get the feeling she will not do well in a worse place?
Please join me in praying for her family to find her. The Lord has taught us over this past year that praying matters! Let's pray that the Lord holds her in His hand and cradles her in His Perfect Love. Let's pray that He touches a family's heart to cooperate with Him in her rescue, and that the family responds and takes the steps necessary to bring her home!

Home
I started this blog last year to advocate for Kathleen, a beautiful little girl who happened to be an orphan living in an orphanage in Ukraine. She had captured my heart with her sparkling blue eyes and her expression that seems so full of hope and expectation.
God put her in my heart and it became very important to me to hold her up and to pray that she would get a family. And a family did find her, and they also chose another little girl to be her sister. They crossed the world and spent many weeks living in the girls' country doing all the things necessary to make it possible for them to become their own daughters so they could bring them home.
And now, Kathleen has a new family, a new name, and a new nationality in addition to the one of her birth. She will be raised to know how much God loves her and that Jesus died to save her. She has brothers and sisters and grandparents...real family. She is HOME.

The Bible Orphan Ministry's New Project
The Bible Orphan Ministry has started a new project. They are raising money to purchase gifts to give to the children in the orphanages they visit.
There are 1055 children altogether in the orphanages they visit. They would like to spend $6 on each child. They'd like to get coloring books, crayons, and other small toys for the little ones, and socks, shampoo, toothpaste and other much needed items for the teens and young adults.
To spend just a few dollars on each child really adds up when you have 1055 children to buy for, but it will mean so much to each child who receives a gift.
Go HERE to read more about their project. They have a chip-in on the sidebar of their blog. Please consider donating to help them reach their goal. This would make a great project for a homeschool group or church youth group.

Leonard
This little guy's Reece's Rainbow name is Leonard. There is not much listed about him. Besides being 9 years old and having Down's Syndrome there is just a short description. "very quiet, friendly and cheerful."
That short description and that lost looking little face have truly tugged at my heart. This boy looks like such a sweet, gentle guy.
I just imagine that he has been shuffled through nine long years. Going where he's told, doing what he's told...just trying to get by. Trying to get what he needs, but stay out of the way. Trying to make sense of things. People always in a hurry. No one truly sees him or takes the time to slow down to his pace to understand and help him to understand.
I'm going to be praying for this guy. Praying that he gets noticed. Praying that his family finds him and brings him home this year. Praying that he holds on while he waits.
He needs a family, but something tells me that somewhere there is a family in need of him too. I'm guessing that he will be such a blessing to someone. I'll be praying that the Lord works out the details.

Look who's Smiling!
Delia's mom, Susan sent a couple pictures of Delia from her visit in November. She has given me permission to post them. I knew that those who have loved and prayed for her would love to see her smiling! What a beautiful girl. So wonderful to know that she is loved and will be coming home soon.
