Bible Orphan Ministry

Most of the orphans in Eastern Europe will never be adopted. Most of them won't even get a chance. Most of them will spend their whole lives institutionalized. They will never know the love of a family. They will never get a chance to truly live.

It is so important to rescue the ones that can be rescued. It's important to do all we can do, but what about the ones left behind? For every child who's rescued there are hundreds who will spend their entire lives in institutions.

Who will remember that they're still there? Who will visit them? Who will teach them about Jesus?

There is a very special Ukrainian ministry whose mission is to visit the abandoned children and share the love of Christ with them. They spend their days traveling to places that would be very difficult to visit. To give what they have to lost, forgotten children.

It is amazing all that they do.

They visit children who never get visitors.

They share a Bible lesson.

Sometimes they bring food that they incorporate into the Bible story. The children literally lick their bowls clean and then look to see if there is more.

They do crafts, play games, bring toys and clothes when they can.

They bring much needed supplies to the orphanages.

They are often able to share the gospel with the orphanage workers too. Imagine the difference in the atmosphere of the orphanage when the children and workers have Jesus in their hearts.

They also help teens who have aged out of orphanages and find themselves on the streets with very few options. They minister to them and do what they can to keep them out of bad situations. These kids do not have their basic needs met. They lack hope for the future. They need help.

This ministry has so much to do.  As far as the orphan crisis goes, they are on the front lines. They are willing, even happy to do the work, but they lack resources. They need our help. Many of us will never have an opportunity to go and see for ourselves and help with the work. But we can still help.

We are so blessed. Does God bless us so that we can be blessed? He wants us to share our blessings with others. Here is a way you can really make a difference. There are so many needs relating to these children...every little bit of help means the world to these children.

Please consider making a personal donation or working as a group or ministry to do a fundraiser. Sell things on ebay, have a yard sale, a bake sale, or do a giveaway. Please grab their button and put it on your blog so people who care about orphans can find them.

These are such sweet people. They truly are being the hands and feet of the Lord to the least of the least. If they cannot do this work, there is no one else waiting in line to take their place. Just imagine what their visits mean to those children. Please lift them up in prayer and also please help support them in their work with the orphans of Ukraine.

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?  Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.  James 2:14-17
